From 24 to 28 of June, 2019, Institute of Cytology and Genetics SB RAS (Novosibirsk, Russia) will held the 11th International Young Scientists School “Systems Biology and Bioinformatics” – SBB-2019
Bioinformatics is a rapidly developing field of knowledge. Each of the past Young Scientists Schools concerned topics urgent at those times. To preserve this tradition, the SBB-2019 will be dedicated to bioinformatics and systems biology in such areas as:
- Genomics and transcriptomic
- Evolutionary bioinformatics
- Structural biology: bioinformatics and molecular dynamics
- Systems biology: analysis of molecular-genetic systems and gene network modeling
- Genetics, genomics, bioinformatics and biotechnology of plants
Young scientists, PhD students and undergraduate students are invited to participate in the School. Particularly, we encourage those of you who are interested in modern theoretical approaches in biology and their application on different biological objects. The School Program include lecture session (12 lectures one hour long) and practical works (8 hours long) on modern approaches of biological data analysis and high-throughput computing.
The Young Scientists School includes also poster and oral presentation of young scientists (15 minutes long). The best presentations will be awarded by certificates and prizes from the Committee and sponsors.
The Federal Research Center Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICG SB RAS) invites you to take part in the 5th International Scientific Conference “Plant genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, and biotechnology” (PlantGen2019), 24-29 June 2019 Novosibirsk, Russia. The Conference will present results of the latest research in plant genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, and biotechnology. We plan to discuss promising areas of inquiry (including collaborative studies) in the basic and applied fields of plant genome research.
